Large c. 1982 portrait photograph of young comedian Jay Leno, a local star, who had yet to gain a national audience. When this photograph was taken he was playing local clubs and hoping for a national break, one that would come about four years later when he started to get spots on the Tonight Show. This is by far the earliest image of Leno we have ever seen and issued through a local Beverly Hills talent agency. Despite some light creasing and some wear at the lower left, the photo presents well and is the earliest of Leno we have ever seen!
