1924 Photograph of tennis superstar Bill Tilden as he met with famous actress Eleanor Boardman and signed an autograph for her as well. Images of Tilden from this era are rare, and this is one of the first to show of his celebrity status. Issued by the Keystone View Company and stamped on the back, this is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen. There are some creases and pinholes from editorial use, but otherwise it presents really well.
