1916 Large studio photograph of actress Peggy Pearce from early in her career. While not widely publicized at the time, Pearce was romantically involved with young comedian Charlie Chaplin and he would talk of her as the "First Great Love of His Life" until the day he died! She was his first girlfriend in Hollywood and he would chase the intense feelings he had for her for the rest of his life. She had a remarkable impact on Chaplin but she was not a superstar, making any images of Pearce extremely rare with this being the best we have ever seen. From the film "Winning Punch" and stamped on the back by the Witzel studio, this is a high grade piece of Hollywood history that is from Pearce's own scrapbook!
