1972 Photograph of Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente as he takes the ball he just knocked for his 3000th career hit and sends it into the dugout for safe keeping. An interesting photo because a later scoring decision would change the play to an error and allow him to celebrate his 3000th hit a bit later all over again. A cool photo with an interesting footnote in history. The condition is outstanding.
