1918 Large and extremely early photograph of a daredevil named "The Human Fly" as he scaled the Temple Bar Building in Brooklyn before a massive audience at a Red Cross rally. He would be one of the most famous daredevils of the era, even inspiring imitators that would perform under the same name. His real name was Harry Gardner and he would scale over 700 buildings and living to an old age, defying the odds! A cool photograph that shows Gardner wearing a costume with a red cross for the event as well, this is in nice shape and bears a stamp and full paper caption on the back from the Central News.
