1926 Large photograph of actress and dancer Texas Guinan as she posed with the agent who raided her nightclub and arrested her, James Walter Longcope. A weird photograph from a more civil era when these types of images were the norm, Longcope is seen at right with his arm around Guinan who seems to love the attention brought on by her arrest. She was known as the "Queen of the Bootleggers" and her images are rare with this being the only example with Longcope we have ever seen. Stamped on the back by the Pacific and Atlantic company and in nice shape overall with note to a small corner chip at the upper right.
