Large 1940's portrait photograph of John Wayne from the height of his career in Hollywood. Issued through Republic Pictures, the studio helps date the image as he would leave the company by the early 1950's. The quality of the photograph is exceptional and despite a small corner chip and a crease at the lower right, it looks really nice. One of his better images from the era we have ever seen.
