1956 Vintage two-part action photograph of young Bill Russell from the University of San Francisco as he shows off his defensive prowess against St. Mary's from the year before he joined the NBA. While generally composite photographs were done off duplicate negatives, these appear to be done off a split negative making each of these a Vintage 1 example! The condition and quality are both outstanding and this is issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
