Vintage December 30, 1977 photograph of two of the greatest coaches in football history, Woody Hayes of Ohio State and Bear Bryant of Alabama, as they were set to square off at the Sugar Bowl a few days later. This is one of the only images of both men together and they are seen symbolically clutching at the trophy they would be playing for. A cool image that is a unique new discovery from a New Orleans archive and stamped on the back by a local photographer named John Ware. Offered here for the first time ever!
