1965 Double weight profile photograph of baseball icon Sandy Koufax of the Los Angeles Dodgers and taken by famous rock 'n roll photographer David Gahr. An incredible use of light and shadows presents the figure of Koufax like no other image we have ever seen with fantastic and artistic overtones. There is a depth to this photograph that is the hallmark of a master photographer and not a run of the mill sports guy on assignment. One of Koufax's best photographs we have ever handled, this is stamped on the back by Gahr with his earliest version carrying his (OR5-7585) phone number, which dates this to the 1960's.
