Large c. 1955 posed action photograph of Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Fame catcher Roy Campanella as he tosses his mask and looks to make a play. The photo is almost certainly from photographer Barney Stein and issued through the team, presenting here in great shape overall. There is the remnant of an autograph across the front (appears to have been secretarial) and it can only be seen when tilted to the light and under very close examination, but mentioned for accuracy. One of his best images we have ever handled and the first we have offered of this pose.
