1942 Vintage posed photograph of young Ted Williams from the Boston Red Sox as he posed at the ballpark in uniform in the final year before he would leave for WWII. The photo is in pretty nice shape overall with a small crease on the lower right and some light discoloration at the bottom from age. The name "Ted Williams 1942" has been written at the top which is a cool touch. Issued by the Associated Press and stamped on the back, this is one of his best from 1942 we have ever seen!
