Large 1940 or 1941 photograph of Boston Red Sox young slugger Ted Williams as he signs his contract for the season in full uniform. While the image is not dated and we can not read the contract, the jersey Williams is wearing was used in 1940 and 1941 as they switched for the 1942 season. An important image as this is from early in Williams' career and possibly signing for his historic 1941 season! Completely vintage and in nice shape overall, this is one of the best early images of Williams we have offered!
