1929 Rare photograph of Hall of Famer Ray Schalk from the one and only season in which he played for the New York Giants. As a savvy veteran, he was put in charge of the team until manager John McGraw arrived, despite being new to the club! From the Associated Press and stamped on the back, this is one of the only images of Schalk with the Giants we have ever seen. There is some wear at the upper left, but otherwise it presents pretty well.
