1919 Vintage photograph of Kid Gleason's wife and daughter before the start of the second game of the World Series, cheering on their favorite manager. The dated paper caption on the back references the loss in game number one and mentions that Kid Gleason was "still confident that the White Sox will come through despite a big Red victory in the first game." A cool piece of baseball history with incredible overtones of the crooked Black Sox scandal! Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well. The photo is in great shape with an extremely light paperclip indentation at the top, otherwise it is perfect.
