1917 Head to toe photograph of pitcher Bob Groom in uniform with the St. Louis Browns, a rare pitcher that had just thrown a no-hitter. Dated on the back, the photo captures Groom who was a good pitcher but played for some pretty bad teams over his career (leading the league in losses three times). Issued by the Central Press and stamped on the back. There is a small rip on the bottom which was repaired with tape long ago, but it looks better than the technical grade.
