Famous 1923 photograph of rookie Lou Gehrig from the New York Yankees and showing him with his bat and posing for a photographer. One of the few images of Gehrig that absolutely dates to 1923, this is a slightly later restrike (c. 1950's) this is a cool image with about sixty or seventy years of age to it! The photo has full borders and is the finest example of this photograph, despite being a restrike, that we have ever handled.
