Perhaps the greatest single works by artist Norman Rockwell were his 1943 set titled "Four Freedoms." They were made into posters across America and have gone down as some of the most important works of the 20th century by any artist. Here, Rockwell sits in his studio and is about half done with one of his paintings from the series, "Freedom of Religion." One of the most incredible photographs of an artist at work that we have ever offered, this is from the King Features newspaper and offered here for the first time ever and might be the only example in the world!
