Large 1925 photograph of a Klan funeral and showing the members in full robes and marching through southern Illinois over the tragic killing of S. Glenn Young. While the Klan itself was awful, of course, Young was a vigilante against bootlegging and corruption and was killed by gangsters for being honest and trying to uphold the law. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. A powerful work of history that we have never seen before.
