1967 Dramatic photograph of a United States Marine who was desperately trying to save the life of his friend in Con Thien but hoisting him on his shoulders and rushing him to safety after being blown up by a booby trap. From the United Press and with a paper caption on the back as well, the photo is the work of Dana Stone who gave his life in 1970 under tragic circumstances while covering the Vietnam War! One of the few images that is confirmed by Stone that we have ever handled and it grades perfectly.
