Everyone remembers where they were in 1991 when Earvin "Magic" Johnson announced to the world that he had HIV. He was the first superstar to be diagnosed with the deadly disease and it seemed like a death sentence at the time. Here Johnson appears shortly after his announcement, wearing a Civil Rights hat, and promoting a safe sex video for Paramount. Stamped on the back by John Paschal, this is one of only two known examples of this image.
