Lot Description  

Important 1930 photograph of Bobby Jones receiving the U.S. Amateur trophy from USGA President Findley S. Douglas at the Merion Cricket Club. This was the victory that capped off the Grand Slam, the greatest accomplishment in Golf history! Photo has tremendous detail and looks great with exceptional clarity and contrast. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back, this is the finest example of this photograph we have ever seen!
