1920 Early portrait photograph of golf superstar Walter Hagen and taken from the relative beginning of his career after he had just boarded a boat to England to participate in the British Open and British Amateur. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with their c. 1923 stamp style, this is one of his earliest portrait photographs of the golf superstar that we have ever handled! We have sold one other example of this photograph with a 1920 paper caption on the back and this one is from about three years later based on the stamp but still within our five year window for a Vintage 1/
