Large c. 1929 photograph of Yankee Stadium in the Bronx as a game is in full swing. The stadium is filled with flags and banners which would indicate opening day or a special event. Lou Gehrig and the Yankees are in the field and the Iron Horse is clearly visible at first base. The photo is from Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back and while there is a corner chip and a small rip on the lower border the photo looks really nice, much better than the technical grade.
