1922 Large photograph of the New York Giants, World Series champions, as they proudly posed at the ballpark in full uniform. This was the last championship squad for the Giants for a decade and final championship of four consecutive trips to the World Series. The team was about to turn over the squad to younger players and rebuild, but this one is packed with Hall of Famers and some of the best players of the era. The image includes Hall of Famers John McGraw and Hugh Jennings as managers as well as at least five Hall of Famers like Casey Stengel, Dave Bancroft, George Kelly, Frankie Frisch and Ross Youngs! A beautiful piece of baseball history with date stamps on the back and issued by the club. The photo has a small rip at the bottom (hard to see) and a chip off the top border but it looks better than the technical grade.
