1919 Portrait photo in uniform of star pitcher and famous world series gambler, Eddie Cicotte from the Chicago White Sox. He was the ace of the staff from the famed 1919 White Sox team that was rated as one of the best of all time before gamblers got to them and they purposely lost the series. Cicotte and seven of his teammates would be banished from baseball the next year for their efforts. Issued by Underwood and Underwood with a bold stamp on the back, it presents pretty well with some chipping off the upper right corner.
