1926 Photograph that was used to announce that magician Harry Houdini was near death and it was feared that he would not recover. The prediction would prove accurate and Houdini would pass away from the injury listed on the back paper caption. The image itself is a slightly earlier file photograph of Houdini and showing him from one of the instances where he disproved a spiritualist and proved them as a fraud. Images of Houdini are tough to find and this is one of his greatest we have ever handled in any form. Issued by the Keystone View Company and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well, this grades almost perfect and the clarity is off the charts. A Type 1 from PSA for sure!
