1919 Large photograph of spiritualist and author, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, as he appeared with the face of his dead son in an image that was reported on the back as only being developed with one negative. Obviously a publicity stunt for the author, this is nonetheless the only vintage image of this important photograph we have ever seen. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well, this has a crease and some pinholes from artistic use, but it looks better than the technical grade.
