1964 Large and poignant photograph from the height of the Civil Rights Movement in America and showing a group of bloodied and beaten black men with a white police officer giving them orders, night stick in hand! So much representation in one image, this was taken in New York and issued by the United Press with a stamp and full paper caption on the back. Condition and quality are both outstanding and this one belongs in a museum or gallery.
