1928 Portrait style photograph of young Russian dictator, Josef Stalin, from early in his political career. He is posed next to Alexei Rykov, his right hand man. This was issued shortly after Stalin became leader in Russia and is one of the earliest images of the young ruler we have ever handled. Issued by Acme and with a full paper caption on the back, the photo also has a secondary date stamp from NEA. Photo has a ripped pinhole at the corner from editorial use and some wear but it looks great for the age and better than the technical grade. NOTE: 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this photograph will go to charity. The organization is called Nations United Soccer which helps immigrants assimilate to American culture through sports.
