Large 1971 portrait photograph of John Lennon, the genius behind "The Beatles" as he appeared with his famous girlfriend Yoko Ono, shortly after the band had broken up and he embarked on his legendary solo career. Wearing a conservative sweater vest and a button with Dick Clark's picture on it, there has to have been a statement here that Lennon was making, but more research is needed into the exact location and meaning of the image. Dated on the back from 6-9-1971 and identified as being taken in New York City, there is a photographers stamp that has been obscured on the reverse corner. The paper looks more like late 1970's to early 1980's material but it clearly has some significant age to it, as a result we are calling it a "vintage 2" to be safe.
