1903 Large and sweeping action photograph from the opening kick-off to start the game between Princeton and Yale. These were the two best teams in America and this game decided the national championship as both teams were undefeated and Princeton would win 11-6. The large photograph is crystal clear and it pictures Hall of Famer John De Witt as he kicks off to Yale. Mounted to an early linen backing by a newspaper, this is one of the best early football action photographs we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever! The photo has a crease on the left but otherwise it is essentially perfect.
