Lot Description  

Large c. 1930 portrait photograph of Hall of Famer Earl Averill of the Cleveland Indians as he posed in uniform from the genesis of his stellar career. A perfect 10/10, this is the work of photographer Charles Conlon and bears his signature and handwriting on the back. Quite possibly his greatest image on the planet!
