Beautiful 1928 photograph of the superstar infielders of the St. Louis Cardinals taken on the eve of their World Series against the New York Yankees. Clear and bold image is among the best of its kind we have seen and pictures three Hall of Famers (Jim Bottomley, Frankie Frisch and Rabbit Maranville) as well as Tom Thevenow and Andy High. A killer piece of baseball memorabilia in pretty nice shape with just a little corner wear, this is from the International News and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well. The photo comes with a full letter from PSA that certifies this as a "Type 1."
