Three years after winning the World Series in 1924, the Washington Senators were still sporting quite a lineup! Led by Hall of Famers Tris Speaker, Goose Goslin, Sam Rice, manager Bucky Harris and Stan Coveleskie, the team also included Joe Judge, Buddy Myer, Muddy Ruel and others. Quite a lineup! This is one of the only examples of this team we have ever handled and it presents well with the most of the squad (Walter Johnson was absent) in uniform and posing at Griffith park in Washington on opening day! Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well, the photo is crystal clear and it presents well with a few chips on the far right border.
