In a publicity stunt at Griffith Stadium in 1927, Walter Johnson was officially named "Chief Heavy Breast" by some visiting Blackfoot Indians of Montana. A very unusual image that would appeal not only to the baseball fan but also to those interested in Native American history. Crystal clear and bold, the image looks great with a tiny corner chip on the lower right and an editorial mark on the upper right. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a large paper caption as well, this is an interesting photo!
