You would think a career .295 average, world series rings, and a triple crown would get you some respect but if your name Was Heinie Zimmerman you barely get mentioned among the greatest hitters of his era. He played for some great teams and had a monster year in 1912 in which he led the National League in basically everything, but Zimmerman remains an "under the radar" cult figure in the history of the game today instead of one of its stars. The offered photograph is a really beautiful posed image standing outside the Giants dugout with the team bats all laid out and ready for use before the game, taken by George Grantham Bain and in fine condition overall!
