1916 Was a transitional period for John McGraw of the New York Giants as he looked to turn the page away from his dynasty of the previous decade and find the next group of players that would lead to a resurgence for the team. It worked, but not without some bumps. The team brought a huge number of rookies to Marlin, Texas for spring training and while some (like George Kelly) worked out, others like this man named "Farrell" are lost to history. A bold image in nice shape overall, this is from the International Film Service and stamped on the back.
