Calvin Coolidge was never really supposed to be President, but he filled the void left by Warren G. Harding after his death quite well and was able to parlay that into a term of his own in winning the 1924 election. He largely just benefitted from being in office during the boom period of the "roaring twenties", but regardless, he was President of the United States and here he is taking his oath of office. Issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption, this is the only photograph from this event that we have ever offered! The photo has some pinholes from editorial use and a corner chip, but otherwise it presents really well.
