Before he became an iconic musician whose popularity has increased since his murder, Tupac Shakur was an actor who had his big break in the 1992 film "Juice." He played a teenager gone bad who killed his friends and showed psychotic behavior, much like his real life personality. The offered contact print photo is about baseball card sized and shows Tupac holding a gun, prophetic as he would be killed by gunfire before the decade was out. Posed with his co-star from the film (Omar Epps), the image is crystal clear, developed in a dark room, and was printed on Fujichrome paper. There is a small sticker on the front which can be removed, but it is from the original photographer and helps identify the photo as "J" for "Juice", the AW likely being the initials of the photographer, and the number 1 recognizing this was the first shot off the negative strip. One of the few original images of Shakur that we have handled that will absolutely get a Type 1 from PSA and in great shape!
