1926 Photograph of famous film director D.W. Griffith as he appeared in court during a lawsuit against Al Jolson. Griffith had hired Jolson to appear in a black face comedy, but Jolson quit the film after he decided he did not like the script, prompting a breach of contract suit from Griffith. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. Photo is in nice shape with one tiny corner chip being the only flaw.
