Battling Siki was one of the oddest figures in boxing history. He was briefly the Light Heavyweight Champion of the World and was found murdered after a run-in with white police officers in New York in 1925. The offered photograph from 1923 is one of his best we have ever handled and it grades a perfect 10/10. Images and memorabilia of Siki are almost impossible to find and this one from Wide World Photos has a full paper caption on the back!
