1913 Large double weight photograph of the two best black fighters in the world, both claiming the vacated championship left by Jack Johnson. Joe Jeanette and Sam Langford were the equals to Johnson, but after 1910 nobody was about to let another black man hold the title, and so they were denied the opportunity claim it over and over again. The offered composite photograph is one of the greatest of each fighter that we have ever seen and it comes with a paper caption and stamp on the back from Underwood and Underwood. An important piece of boxing history that is being offered here for the first time ever.
