1925 Team photo of the Pittsburgh Pirates the champions of the National League and then conquerors of the Washington Senators in the World Series as well! Picturing 35 men including Hall of Fame owner Barney Dreyfuss among a bevy of other superstars, this is about as good as team photographs get from the era. Issued by Wide World Photos and with a stamp and paper caption on the back, the photo has a crease and a few light pinholes from editorial use but it looks much better than the technical grade.
