1912 Large photograph of Mal Barry in uniform with the New York Yankees and posing at the Polo Grounds in New York, taking some grounders and fielding his position. A fantastic work of pre-war photography from Underwood and Underwood, this is an exciting new discovery as there is no record of Barry playing with the Yankees, but this photo will re-write that history. This is not a spring training photograph where players would show up and mess around with the clubs, Barry is at the Polo Grounds in uniform and was being billed on the back paper caption as a member of the team, but he never got into a game! An incredible piece of baseball history!
