1948 Important photograph of New York Yankee executives paying their respects to the body of Babe Ruth which lay in a casket in front of them. Part of Ruth's face is clearly visible and the men (Dan Topping and Paul Carey) look visibly shaken at the event. A rare image that we have never seen before and presents beautifully. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back beneath the paper caption and it remains in great condition.
