1925 Was the low point for Babe Ruth and he vowed that he would come back in a big way. He worked harder in the off season to shed weight and get in shape than he ever had and this famous photograph captures his efforts like none other. Ruth is in a sweat box and he is being messed with by his trainer, looking annoyed at the whole affair, but he was certainly in on the fun. Issued by Wide World Photos and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well, this is the only original example of this famous photograph that we have ever seen. Photo has a crease on the left side and some pinholes but it presents really well otherwise.
