Incredible early photograph of the home of Frank Lloyd Wright lived in and his first masterpiece of design Taliesen. One of the most famous structures ever built, Taliesen was not only the retreat home of Frank Lloyd Wright but also the home of his mistress. In 1914 the place was burned to the ground and seven people murdered by a grounds keeper at the home in one of the most grizzly incidents in American history. While this image is certainly Taliesen, it also has some differences to the current structure which gives us a rare look at the structure as it was in transition or possibly even before the fire took place! One of the most spectacular images of architecture ever found! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, the photo is clean and bold with a small rip on the bottom border.
