It is incredible to think that during the 1960 Presidential campaign, Jackie Kennedy was not allowed to be in the limelight because it was traditionally not something the wives of candidates did. When this photo was released, she was looked at as a potential liability and the caption on the back asks if shwas "too chic?" Today we know this is ridiculous and that she helped more than anyone to launch the mystic and allure of the Kennedy family, but those photograph represents a change in culture and it is an important piece of American history. The photo is clear and bold, showing young Jackie posed in a trendy coat and hat, while the back newspaper story has a ton of incredible information. An investment quality piece of history that has already been authenticated by PSA and has a sticker on the back (we do not have the LOA but it can be replaced). Certification has been double checked and the image is in the PSA database as a Type 1!
