1944 Double weight, almost panoramic photograph of American soldiers aboard their landing crafts and preparing to disembark on D-Day off the beaches of Normandy. Crystal clear and bold, this is a fantastic image in great shape with a full paper caption that is dated and describes the action on the back. One of the few images from the actual D-Day invasion we have ever seen and the first of this exact image we have seen in any form! A perfect 10/10 that belongs in a museum or gallery!
